We’ve whipped up a list of places to chow down in Australia’s largest non-capital city 😉

Best Gold Coast Eateries

Gold Coast Meets Meats

Brooklyn Depot
The Brooklyn Depot is the Gold Coasts answer to your American dreams.
American style burgers, fries, chicken wings, pork ribs, frickles (fried pickles) – the list goes on and on… there’s even doughnut balls filled with your choice of Oreos, peanut butter and jelly, apple pie or blueberry…… YUM

The Fish House
The Fish House, is a lovely atmospheric dining experience – the outlook from the restaurant faces North up Burleigh Beach towards the lights of Surfers Paradise. . Not too loud, but still vibrant enough. If you love seafood, this is the place for you – as that’s all the menu consists of. But it will be the best seafood you’ve had in the state – that’s for sure! Fine dining has made its way to Queensland courtesy of The Fish House, so dress up and dive in!

Longboards Bar
Longboards Bar is the original home of the Phat Bastard Challenge.
Located at the rear of the Q1 Hotel, Longboards creates a real holiday feel within the dining experience. Tall wooden bar stools and tables, music always on speakers, and right on the beach and with the sun shining throughout the afternoon… It’s the perfect place for an afternoon sesh and a cheeky bite.  With variable menus through the day – we doubt you’ll run out of options at Longboards.

Hellenika
Hellenika is the sister restaurant to The Fish House and easily lives up to the expectations assumed by such a sister establishment. The exceptional service is usually enough to get us coming back for more, alongside fantastic food at a reasonable price! If you aren’t familiar with Greek cuisine, the wait staff will happily guide you through the menu – standard OR banquet 😉

Ze Pickle
Ze Pickle has a real modern Australian spin on some American classics. The Gold Coast is fast emerging as the place to go for indulgent burgers…  Buffalo wings? Check! Cheeseburgers? Check! Fried candy bars? You betchya! And cocktails too!! The service is friendly and fast, many locals tip this to have the best burgers in town, and they have beer (other than XXXX and Toohey’s) on tap!

The Miami Marketta
The Miami Marketta is a permanent fixture in Miami Queensland, which brings food from all over the world right to the streets of the Gold Coast. Alongside constant entertainment in the form of concerts, art projects and more… The Miami Marketta is truly a foodie’s haven, overflowing with choices between differing nationalities’ cuisines, and even a dessert hall!
Boutique wine and locally brewed beers are available via The Cargo Bar or Marketta Cafe, and there is even a Wine and Cocktail bar serving up Marketta’s specialty cocktails! You can sit back with some Greek Souvlaki, Dutch pancakes and a locally brewed beer whilst listening to some local blues… perfection.
